Artists I Admire
Current Artist
I researched acrylic portraits because that is my medium for my portfolio. I found an artist named Michael Wagner with incredible talent and an fantastic eye for creating texture in his paintings. Michael Wagner is an American photo realistic painter from Pennsylvania. He was born in 1958 and studied Fine Arts and Graphic Design. He then became a police officer, but later returned to art. In 2015, Michael had his first solo show at the Love Art Gallery in East Norwalk, Connecticut.
